Department of Texas, District 12, Post 516 Family

Unit 516 collaborated with the Cowtown chapter of DIVAWOW.org. Both groups collected clothing, shoes, toiletries, and non-perishable food for the women at Presbyterian Night Shelter. We were able to tour the women's shelter, Patriot House and the medical recovery shelters on May 14. The groups met with Judy Glover, Director of Volunteer Services at Presbyterian Night Shelters, and delivered the much needed supplies. Mrs. Glover noted that towels, washcloths, and bed linens are among the most needed supplies at this time.
