Kathy Diane Bigley entered into the eternal kingdom on February 20, 2019 after a lengthy battle with cancer. She was born in Fort Worth, Texas on September 21, 1953.

Kathy was the sitting American Legion Auxiliary Texas First Division President, past Unit 379 President and has served the Legion Family in many capacities for many years, including multiple offices held over Unit, District, Division and State levels.

Cancer research has been Kathy's 'special project' for many years and she has spearheaded several programs that have raised thousands of dollars for Cancer research. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the ALA Cancer Research program in memory of Kathy. She is survived by: Husband, Terrance M. Bigley Sr; Mother, Wilma F. Gideon; Daughter, Michelle Birkett and partner David; Brother, Brad Campbell; Granddaughters; Courtney and Savannah; Step Children, TM Bigley Jr, Laura Blaylock, Sam Bigley and Beth Jackson; numerous grand and great-grand children as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.
