Charlie Hinkle 1951 – 2015

 

Charles Bernard Hinkle, 64, passed away Saturday, Aug. 29, 2015, in Dallas.

 

Graveside service: 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 9, in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, Lane C. Visitation: 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 9, prior to the service, at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington.

 

Memorial gifts may be made in memory of Charlie Hinkle to American Legion Auxiliary Unit 60, Cancer Aid and Research, 601 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington, Texas 76010.

 

Charles was born April 28, 1951, in Caretta, W.Va., to Othniel Hinkle and Dorothy Coleman Hinkle. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. He worked as a machinist for Bescast in Willoughby, Ohio. Charles was a member of VFW #6911, American Legion #624 and Elks Lodge #2114.

 

He was preceded in death by his son, Charles B. Hinkle Jr.; and two brothers, Jack D. Hinkle and Jeffrey L. Hinkle. Survivors: Wife, Nancy A. Siebold Hinkle; daughters, Jamie M. Abordonado, Kristina M. Struna and Rebecca J. Madda; and brothers, Michael S. Hinkle and Ronald F. Hinkle.
