Michael Joseph DeAngelis (Nov. 13, 1937 - April 30, 2011)
<br><br>Michael Joseph DeAngelis of North Richland Hills, formerly of Lorain, Ohio, passed away peacefully Saturday, April 30, 2011, at the age of 73, due to complications of lung and bone cancer. Service: A private service for the family will be held at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his name to the American Cancer Society or to a charity of choice. Michael was born Nov. 13, 1937, in Lorain. He was preceded in death by his father, Serafino "Sam" DeAngelis in 1970; his mother, Angeline "Amato" DeAngelis in 1976; and brothers, Andrew in 2004, Frank in 1998, Sam in 2000 and Charles "Chuck" in 1979. Survivors: He is survived by his children, Lori Griffith (George), Michael DeAngelis (Lori) and Dena McCallum (Robbie); his brothers, Dominic "Doc" (Vicky) of Lorain and Arthur "Art" of Tennessee; his sister, Dena Corrao of Lorain; his sister-in-law, Rose DeAngelis (Frank) of Lorain; as well as his grandkids, Cole and Carsen Griffith; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.
