Funeral Services for BT1 SW George Newt Bybee Jr (63) of Grand Prairie, TX, will be 12:00 p.m. Thursday, March 31, 2011 at Homestead Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00- 8:00p.m. Wednesday evening at the funeral home. George passed away March 26, 2011 in Dallas. He was born to George and Mildred Marshall Bybee June 3, 1947 in Amarillo, TX. George married Karla Crowley December 31, 1947 at NAS Dallas. He proudly served in the US Navy for 23 years on board 7 different ships. His favorite saying was "trust me". Left behind to cherish his memory is his wife Karla Bybee of Grand Prairie, son George Newt Bybee III of Grand Prairie, daughter Stacy Westbrook and her husband Rodney of Irving and granddaughters Abigail and Izabelle Westbrook brother-in-law R.L. Crowley of Grand Prairie sister-in-laws Toni Kistler of Lampe, MO and Carrie Hill of Berryville, AR.
